SilSett (“SilSett,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a service of The Stylish Silhouettes, provides online personal styling and color analysis. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have, including how our SMS / text messaging program works.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account details such as your name, phone number, email address, and profile information you choose to share.
- Styling inputs such as quiz responses, photos you upload, body and color preferences, and messages you send to stylists.
- Payment and billing information processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Information collected automatically
- Device, browser, and approximate location data (for example, IP address, operating system).
- Usage data such as pages viewed, features used, and diagnostic logs.
- Cookies and similar technologies used to keep you signed in and to improve the service.
3. How we use information
- Provide, operate, and improve SilSett and match you with stylists.
- Send account-related notifications, event reminders, and customer-care updates.
- Authenticate sign-in using one-time codes (OTP) sent via SMS or WhatsApp.
- Process payments, prevent fraud, and keep the service secure.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run SilSett (for example, hosting, messaging, email, analytics, and payment processors), with stylists you are matched with for the purpose of delivering the service, and when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
5. SMS / text messaging program
This section describes the SilSett SMS program and how we obtain consent before sending text messages. By providing your mobile number and completing the consent step below, you agree to receive the message types described here from SilSett at the number you provided.
How you opt in (consent)
You opt in to receive messages from SilSett in one or more of the following ways:
- Entering your mobile number in the SilSett app or website and confirming a one-time verification code we send by text.
- Replying to a SilSett text message to confirm you want to continue receiving messages (for double-opt-in flows, where applicable).
- Texting a keyword we publish (for example, a start keyword) to our toll-free number.
Consent to receive marketing or promotional texts is never a condition of purchasing any product or service.
Message types you may receive
- Account notifications - sign-in codes, security alerts, account changes, and status updates.
- Event reminders - reminders about styling sessions, video consultations, and appointments you registered for.
- Customer care - responses to your questions, support follow-ups, and one-time transactional updates.
A typical sample message looks like: “You have (n) notification from SilSett. Checkout at [one-time link here].”
Message frequency and costs
Message frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier plan. SilSett does not charge you to receive messages.
Opt-out (STOP) and help (HELP)
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SilSett text message. After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation text and stop sending further messages to that number, except messages strictly required to process your opt-out. To get help, reply HELP to any SilSett message or email us at admin@thestylishsilhouettes.com. You may also manage notification preferences in your account settings, where available.
Carriers and delivery
Messages are sent through third-party messaging providers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change over time.
Mobile information sharing
We do not share your mobile phone number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with service providers that help us deliver messages (for example, our SMS gateway) and only to the extent needed to operate the program.
6. Your choices & rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at admin@thestylishsilhouettes.com. You can also opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send and out of SMS messages by replying STOP to any SilSett text.
7. Data security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we encourage you to use a strong password and keep your sign-in code private.
8. Children's privacy
SilSett is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and, for material changes, provide additional notice through the service.
10. Contact us
When you submit the Let's Connect form on our website, we collect your IP address and browser type solely to detect and prevent abuse; this data is automatically deleted after 12 months (along with your inquiry record).
